Yes. We construct site-built mortuary coolers around the available room, required capacity, access, and facility layout. This is particularly useful where a standard prefabricated box does not fit the building or wastes usable space.

Qualifying replacement projects can be completed within a 24-hour shutdown window when the replacement equipment, materials, access, utilities, trade coordination, and site preparation are ready before shutdown. Standard site-built cooler work generally requires approximately two to three days of facility downtime. Final timing depends on the actual scope and existing conditions.

Yes. AFSS offers a four-body temporary mortuary cooler for planned construction, replacement work, and qualifying emergencies. Rates start at $500 per day. Delivery, setup, pickup, generator service, minimum rental periods, and extended-rental pricing are determined by the project. A $250 sanitation and decontamination fee applies.

Generator capability is available when required. AFSS confirms the cooler load, generator capacity, fuel plan, placement, weather protection, and monitoring requirements before setup. Generator service is priced separately.

Yes. We coordinate new preparation rooms and remodel existing spaces around sanitation, durable finishes, plumbing, ventilation, lighting, storage, equipment placement, workflow, and applicable project requirements.

Many projects can be phased around an operating funeral home. We evaluate access, dust and noise control, temporary separations, trade sequencing, working hours, staff circulation, and scheduled services. The practical phasing plan depends on the building and scope.

The walkthrough includes an on-site review of existing conditions, measurements, discussion of operational needs, and the information required to prepare the project estimate. If AFSS is hired for the quoted work, the full $275 is credited toward the contracted project amount.

Pricing depends on size, capacity, equipment, materials, utilities, access, demolition, travel, finishes, phasing, and existing conditions. We provide project-specific proposals after gathering the information necessary to define the scope accurately.
